Abstract During the conventional petrophysical interpretation fixed (predefined) zone parameters are applied for every (depth intervals). Their inclusion in inversion process requires extension of a likelihood function whole zone. This allows to define extremum problem fitting parameter set full interval model layers crossed by well, both associated with depth points (e.g. porosity, saturations, rock matrix composition etc.) and formation water resistivity, cementation factor etc.).
